Craig Ploth is the BEST!!!
August 23rd, 2010Craig Ploth, the Internet Manager, is the kind of guy you *really* want to buy your car from (and hilarious to boot)! I sent out a flurry of email requests when I was ready to buy my Jetta TDI because I had a very short time frame (literally days) to buy it before the tax credit was halved. Craig was one of my first replies and one of the very few to not BS me. Craig is a real straight-shooter. He quoted hard numbers with full price breakdowns and even prepared an invoice so there were no surprises at the dealership. (The numbers, by the way, were great — much better than the already competitive quote I was given through the amexnetwork.zag.com site, which I also recommend as a great tool for beginning your car-buying negotiations.) He was refreshingly honest about what options were worth my money (and which weren’t!). He was also happy to pick me up from the PATH. If you’re in the tri-state area and looking for a VW I cannot recommend him more strongly.
